In general, over the last 15 years, the Comex ® Paper Gold & Silver prices dip prior to Expiry. The schedules linked below show dates on the last week of each month.

In addition, Comex GLD & SLV ETF Expiry is about the 15th each month. That coincides w/ several of the large US mining operations common stock options expiry. I don't participate in this wanton gambling. I step up on the wooden sidewalk... and watch this insanity parade go by.
Not certain, as I do not enter the Comex ® Casino. This parade of paper shuffling creates quite a mess. Housekeeping is scheduled for mid month & the last week of the month. Bigger the fleecing, the more housekeeping is called...
