Sloan digital sky survey

Freaking love videos like that.

Here is one of my favorites that truly show the vastness of space and can viewed in 3D.
Sloan digital sky survey

Some rough calculations for this one.
The "camera" is moving about 1,262,304,000,000,000 times the speed of light.
Which is about 37 million light years per second.

for perspective... the nearest star is 4 light years away and would take a conventional space shuttle 40 THOUSAND years to reach.

Tools of war are not always obvious. The worst weapon is an idea planted in the mind of man. Prejudices can kill, suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has an everlasting fallout all of its own.
