Wrong slippery slope to worry about

"exceptions for fertility clinics and science in general"...

Perhaps there are some ways human beings should not be treated, no matter how good the outcome may seem. Babies should not be seen as things for couples to acquire whatever the cost. Fertility clinics discarding "excess embryos", or even worse, aborting excess embryos in the womb like they are not human is monstrous. Embryonic stem cell research has yet to fulfill any of it's promises, and has caused tumors when it has been tried, though adult stem cell based therapies are already in use and always expanding in scope. The slippery slope is that of the fertility clinics and embryonic stem cell research. The slope they are on is dehumanizing, and are avenues I would love to see dry up.
