Comment: something different--

(See in situ)

something different--

which it took us years to find (and then only used and vinyl)--

Eastern European (Romanian) music that was banned for decades--

traditional Christmas music; not necessarily 'sacred', but hard to find until the last decade or so--

Our entire family can listen to this for hours (the entire album)--

something 'liberating' about listening to something that was once banned--

for "spiritual" Christmas music, it doesn't get much better than this--also in a language once banned:

(my favorite language for "Silent Night", Japanese)

Christianity in Japan predated the composition of "Silent Night" in Germany, so I don't know when "Silent Night" was first translated into Japanese, but it has been around a long time--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--
