And I am among the younger generation. I don't even own a smartphone. I don't use my phone at all during the day while I am at work, and then use it sparingly when I get home. The top reason I own a cell phone is for emergency purposes. When I was in high school there was a band of teachers who vowed never to buy a cell phone. I think only a few still do not have one.
