Comment: The Christmas/Saturnalia connection ....

was one of things that unsettled me for a while. We keep the Biblical feasts and festivals now, but remember the birth and death and resurrection of Y'shua at the 'appointed times'.

The funny thing is, First Fruits and Easter often fall fairly close to each other, and sometimes overlap. We find ourselves avoiding most of the 'trappings' at Christmas, and relating the story of Passover's relationship to the resurrection and First Fruits to those who care to listen.

There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus, (Messiah Y'shua, if you prefer), but we are to live in the knowledge we have. Many do not have this information, or have not been convinced of it.
