ballons full of red crap at people -then they too deserve a good ass kicking.

See, it stops becoming first amendment when you violate personal space, it then becomes a threat and or assault. Now, if you so believe in your cause that you feal such a threat is warranted - that is fine. Just remember that the person who's space you are violating may just find that space a cause worht fighting for.

See, what you miss is at the end of the day REAL liberty is having the right to kick the shit out of someone who threatens you - hence - protecting you and your ability to live a free, productive life.
