If he is a reader...

Then there are a couple of books on the subject that would be of interest. The first one is by a political and financial journalist, Garet Garret, who was a contemporary of FDR and understood exactly what was going on. It is a real eye opener and should be read by every American in my opinion. It is called The People's Pottage and is free to read online at the Ludwig von Mises Institute: http://mises.org/books/pottage.pdf

The second one is available in the same way from the same website. It is called Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace and is subtitled A Critical Examination of the Foreign Policy of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and its Aftermath. It is a compilation of essays by historians who were also contemporaries of FDR and like The People's Pottage it was published in 1953. All of the predictions in that book have come true with the exception thus far of WWIII. It is only a matter of time before that one is also fulfilled. Here is the link:

Even if your husband refuses to read these books I would suggest you yourself read them and arm yourself with the knowledge contained in them. Stay cool.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)
