I may disagree with Rand on a few things, but I agree with him on 90% of the issues. I don't call that supporting for the wrong reason, nor would I consider it "disgusting."

Rand endorsed Romney, whom I consider despicable.
Ron endorsed Lamar Smith, whom I also consider despicable.

You will never find a perfect man for the job. If you don't think Rand is pure enough for you, then I can respect that, and I advise you to put focus into local races where it would be easier to get someone who is pure enough by your standards.

But you aren't doing any favors by dismissing Rand Paul.
