I have been playing those words in my mind for a few minutes, letting them sink in as you've said them and I don't like it.
I understand the merit and strategy of picking your battles, but I feel like I've found mine. I have finally found something that I cannot ignore and must pursue. I feel like I have located a profound contradiction in law or society or whatever its called and I feel like I have to bring attention to it.
By submitting and not growing hemp, I'm saying that I'm ok with allowing American companies import hundreds of millions of dollars worth of a raw material that can easily be grown on American soil, and actually was widely grown for most of country's young history, and forgo the possibility of creating clean, green American jobs. This I cannot submit to and while I appreciate the words of caution, I must for the sake of my own soul ignore them.
