Bob I don't think that this is common knowledge in the general public. While many on this site may be aware I don't think that makes it common knowledge. Most people believe what they were told in government schools. They think that fdr was a hero. Most will ignorantly argue that it was a surprise attack. The evidence to the contrary is irrelevant.
