Contrast so stark it's surreal

It's always strange seeing/hearing the Judge speaking on such a substantial and cerebral level, then hearing these anchors' inane banter. What's the strategy over there at Fox? Completely discredit informative material/segments by wrapping them up in air-headed babble?
