I think that Dentists are intercessors for the public administration so they cannot be very open or are ignorant and irresponsible that is not to say they are good and nice people and intelligent.
ie. They register to be dentists and when you register for something you willingly give up something/contract into something imo.
p.s. when you start a new job or join a college or military or security or teaching etc. they sometimes have their business code of ethics and you are compelled to sign even there are provisions where you may be in contradiction of acceptable practices and 'customs' or traditions outside the domain of the business and acceptable elsewhere in society you signed up to be with.
I strongly emphasize 'customs'. :)
