neo-conservatives (Christians)--
is a movement or trend towards blindness--
These people simply do not want to know the truth--
being blind is 'in'--
It's very sad, and it's hard not to feel insane at times--
Not just blind about politics, either; blind about everything going on around *us*/*them*--
almost as though they are brainwashed or have taken some kind of pill--
If I bring up something that is controversial there is silence--
and then someone changes the subject--
well, it's scary to me, anyway--
it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--
