A general principle to follow regarding your health is that your body is designed to function and repair itself so feed it natural things and avoid the unnatural things. Live naturally, move around, walk, think positively to reduce stress, etc. The medical model of "trust me I'm a doctor" I do not trust since the great physician is who created our bodies.
The major killers are chronic diseases. These disease are almost all preventable and fixable by removing stressers and living a healthier lifestyle.
