It's all part of the annual

It's all part of the annual Geminids meteor shower, which is usually a great sight. It peaks tonight (December 13th), so grab a chair and a coat and watch the show anytime from 10pm until dawn. In dark sky areas you may see up to 120 meteors per hour. And since it's a new moon you should be able to see more.
