I don't think he wants a tax that high. But the way we are consuming everything and pushing the bills to future generations. The item is we should pay what we can afford. If a 23% tax is not what you want maybe you shouldn't be wanting government to be spending so much money. I agree the idea and solution is wrong but it is logically sound. If you want the government to spend more you got to pay more. If you want to pay less, the government will do less...(this isn't true, as we find out).
