This is a TERRIBLE reason to lose. Cough up the money, win THEN CHANGE THE RULES.

Seriously, whoever told you you didn't have to pay was a moron. NEVER let a few dollars prevent you from a win EVER.

If you don't have the money then PLAN FOR THAT IN ADVANCE AND ASK FOR IT.

I would have gladly donated $20.
