Fort Hood was over quickly.

Fort Hood was over quickly. CT took long enough that there would have been plenty of time for an armed teacher(or armed 5 year old, possibly) to have cut the carnage short.

Anyway, the correct answer is that, whether teachers are armed should be up to the teacher. It's called freedom. And whether parents send their kids to be taught by unarmed or armed teachers is up to the parents. You, me nor government have no business intervening in any way, shape or form. At least unless arming teachers mean arming them with WMD's.
