You are missing the point
Even if there are less gun deaths and more medical malpractice deaths, the point is that you are way more likely to be killed by a doctor than a gun owner.
I used the 12,000 figure because that is the figure being spouted by Piers Morgan and other gun grabbers.
I used the 195,000 figure because it is a solid, trustworthy statistic from a study by Healthgrades.com
