...if it wouldn't even go into effect until June 1, 2014.

"If only one life is saved ..." If this legislation will truly save lives, it would make sense to enact it immediately, not well over a year down the road.

Obviously, this legislation is not about "the children," but about further eroding our rights and ensuring a monopoly of power within the military and police forces.
