Biblical Perspective

As a Christian I believe what the Bible says in Mark 12:17:

And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

If you are a Christian this should be your stance also; however, if you are not I will appeal to you in a different way.

I don't like taxes especially when we have a super evil and corrupt government in charge. The problem is not us being arrested if we don't pay them. The problem is that if a large enough group doesn't pay they will take away other services from us and hurt all sorts of other industries, increasing taxes on them, etc. It wont hurt their wallets. They will just print more money and inflation will increase.

Ultimately we hurt ourselves, our families and friends more if we do this. I hate being a nay-sayer because it is a noble idea of peaceful resistance. But how can you think such an EVIL government will be swayed? The only way to change things is to change the system by infiltration.

Isaiah 2:4
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
