Unfortunately fighting for freedom is not very attractive to the opposite sex. Haven't even had a girlfriend in over a year.

FYI ladies - it has nothing to do with physical appearance :-P

In the last 10 years or so I've had a handful of girlfriends... none worked out because they did not share my knowledge of the very critical problems we face and my sense of responsibility to do something about it.

Most only seem to like heroes when they are depicted in the movies. Not feverishly looking but I still have the hope that one day someone will come along and like me for who I am... and not try to change me.

I dunno if this topic was what you had in mind when posting but being alone on the holidays certainly brings it up for me.
