I think you may be referring to Mark Willis, the National Committeeman for the Maine Republican Party. He was one of the older delegates, I believe. He was quoted in the Maine papers and on radio. Mr. Willis proposed and successfully fought for the idea of Maine's delegates to walkout in the event the delegation would not be fully seated.

The following link was posted on Facebook yesterday. This grassroots site says Jim DeMint, Mark Willis and Michael Steele are the top 3 vote getters to run against Mr. Preibus.
