A shortage with libertarian women indeed. Moreso from the Asian-

American community is very rare. The pertaining "socialistic" Asian culture (respect to authority/elders, a strong focus on everyone helping/working together as "one", "monolithic", etc) is somewhat anathema to the libertarian, individualistic mindset (esp the "question authority" part) I came to be and be familiarize with. Though from where I was born, my "motherland" has a strong history of freedom & liberty (independence from Spain, then from the US)...

Not that I'm looking for one...but meeting libertarian Ron Paul women for friendship would be so cool (Asian Amer or not). Btw, my agnostic Chinese gf (LOVE her SO MUCH!) grew up in the era of Mao's China (though she admires him still). Although "self-sufficiency" flows very strongly in her veins, values her privacy highly, HATES taxes and is very "capitalistic" (an understatement). MONEY (entrepreneurship, hard work, honor, "Good Luck" esp, etc) after all is one of the integral parts and is deeply ingrained in their culture. Hmmm...I see some shades of "libertarianism" in there, somewhere. That must be some "Asian" version.. ;-)

Some historical libertarian "Food for Thought". The first recognized libertarian intellectual was actually..Chinese and is the founder of Taoism: Lao Tzu http://mises.org/daily/1967
