Due to one of the few errors the founders made.

While the theory is you have "three separate but equal branches of government," in reality we do not have that.

Congress makes the statutes... president signs them... and then the people are abused by them repeatedly until one of them spends their life savings paying Attorneys to fight it all the way to the Supreme Court.

Same analogy... apply it to the state.

How is the judicial branch equal if they do not get to put in their two cents on new legislation?
