The paper wasn't doing well already, and

I know tea party people who have now cancelled their subscription as a result of this - people who do *not* have permits. It's the principle of the thing. And don't be so sure that they won't go broke. Newspapers have been folding left and right.

"Rapidly declining advertising revenues continue to be the industry’s core problem. The losses in 2011 were slightly worse than those of 2010 – 7.3% compared to 6.3%. Ad revenues are now less than half what they were in 2006."

No one's asking me, but if I were the publisher, I'd fire the reporter, remove the map, and issue a statement "Although we feel that we had a legal right to inform, in light of.." Where are the p.r. people?!

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.
