THAT is what I'm talking about.
That's what I mean about knowing EXACTLY what you have or DON'T have to do, and what the officer can and can't do.
Notice the officer tries to get his way but the citizen (politely) denies whatever he doesn't have to do. You should only do this if you KNOW what to do/expect in all variations of this situation - for example, even if they call back up (which here they did).
It can take balls, but you can effectively control a situation to a large degree when you know what you're doing! :)
EDIT: also the CAMERA was VERY helpful as insurance against abuse.
