Comment: Law, Title, and Code

["Laws are written and enforced by government..."]

Correction: Statutes and Codes are written and enforced by government.

The Law is the Constitution.

Legislators write and enact Statutes to uphold the Law.
Legislators codify regulations (Codes) to enforce the Statutes.

So the legal pecking order goes like this...

1. The Law: Constitution is the Law of the land.

2. Statutes: rooted in The Law. Statutes must comply with the Law.

3. Regulatory Codes: rooted in Statute.
