You are right, drink water. But "dry eye" is a break down of the lipid layer. You need to eat good oils, too. Those drops are "bread and butter" for Pharma, and wholly unnecessary. If it is immediate relief you seek, saline is just fine. To get to the heart of the matter, you need to hydrate and oil your innards. There is no reason to spend all that money.
