I was seriously looking at a saw stop as I wanted the best in safety. But I came across the idea of track saw as a safe alternative to a table saw. I chose the modular one from eurekazone.com and love it. The website is crappy so you'll need to do some research on it to figure things out. I think this could eventually be an opensource idea. They have a great community forum constantly giving and trying new ideas and the system is constantly evolving.
