Ron Paul had his own faults for not even making a youtube video and just announce "All my supporters, please go to the State Conventions!". And that would've been the motivation.

But his silence did no where NEAR the amount of damage that Rand did, there was still chances for delegates, but many felt betrayed after Rand's Endorsement I believe, but I saw a HUGE change in dailypaul and attendance of RP supporters after that.
