Comment: When I Heard He

When I heard he was announcing his first Presidential run in early 2007. I had been a fan of Paul's columns for years.

I had never cared for a specific politician other than him and had become an apolitical libertarian. I thought I was just destined to think my libertarian thoughts as the rest of the world remains in the statist matrix.

When I read that Ron Paul had announced a Presidential run I was immediately inspired and could not stop talking about it. From posting his speeches to emailing friends and family I had gone from apathy to activism. Never did I think I'd find myself knocking on doors for a politician, yet there I was canvassing for Ron Paul in 2008.
