Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound - Rom. 5:20

Those are great truths to be grounded and settled on. Consider how a few more holy words give us an even better view from above:

"For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
*Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
*For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
*And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
*But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
*But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
*Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
*For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing." - 1 Peter 3:10-17 ...

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
*But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
*If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you:
*on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. *But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
*Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf." - 1 Peter 4:12-16
