Free market insurance. The way insurance is mandated, I have to buy enough insurance to cover YOUR 100,000 Lex-cedes-orsche. I drive a paid for POS, worth about 1,000 if I can sell it on a day it runs. If I want to risk taking my car as a loss, I can. If you want to cover your beast for total replacement, you can. But to make ME buy coverage for people who drive beasts is absurd. The insurance companies make insane profits on this model, where no-fault would allow people to decide how much they WANT to insure their OWN cars for.
