Cascade Effect

We've seen how well it works to ask Congress to cut back their spending of our money.

Income tax hurts, but people seem able to live in denial very easily because their employer never puts it into their hands.

A consumption tax would put the bill for government right there on the receipt for every purchase, having come out of our pockets. It's just the reform that would put motivation to fight tax increases back into the hands of consumers (and reduce this ridiculous and suicidal desire to tax someone else) to put pressure on Congress.

I could throw away boxes and boxes of papers, too.

Of course, it all means nothing re spending if we don't end the Fed.
