Comment: duckweed

is what we grow for tilapia food. That, vegetation scraps, a hard boiled egg now and then, it is self contained. The "zero input" aspect is why I am an AP enthusiast. If we ever screw up this planet so badly that we literally have to go underground or live in biodomes (are we there already and too numb to notice?) having an AP system is THE key to eating well.
You can grow wheat in them if you want.
