No one will hold it against you if you take unemployment benefits. I certainly won't. This is an insurance program - you paid into it in order that you might be able to use it one day.

I know a lot of people abuse it. That is not the case with you.

Very sorry to hear about AA. I flew with them a couple of times.

But do what you need to do for yourself - take the unemployment. Even Ron Paul takes his Social Security checks.
