Was that the worst he got...cuz that was pretty good

Maybe the younger generation isn't used to men speaking with such conviction, but I am. Alex wasn't "off his rocker", he used a tone to convey he would defend his rights with violence if necessary.

It is EXACTLY that sort of tone that we need. They are counting on us to remain in their civil borders of conversation...including tone. We need to shout a lot more.

I love Ron Paul, but he is no Andrew Jackson...a lion.

And mind you, I don't particularly trust Alex. Further, we cannot allow him, Ron Paul, or anyone be our voice for us.

Even further, I (once again) strongly suggest we get really organized for public protesting and confrontation. For sometimes shouting isn't enough.

Check out this clip from Malcom X: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Uoy6xy5AFM

[scene setup]Some cops beat the crap out of some man and won't let him have a doctor. An unorganized mob shows up and starts screaming. So the officers file out in an orderly fashion. The mob backs off a bit. The cops sort of laugh. Then Malcom X shows up and leads an organized militant two-man column march in front of the police. The police get serious and ask what they are there for. X demands the captive see a doctor. The police say they will do it. X says they will stay until it happens and perhaps escalate it. The police get the doctor. [end setup]

Right now, the Ron Paul Revolution is, at best, the unorganized mob.

Frankly, we need to become a political militia that knows how to represent appropriately in public (in suits).
