We are moving much more rapidly toward revolution than I

ever thought we would. I figured we had a decade, but then the Civil War came early too, propelled by the election of Lincoln.

The crisis leading up to the American Revolution was about 15 years, the Civil War only 4 years, and WWII was 12 years. The current crisis began in 2007 or 2008 with the crash in the real estate bubble, so it has been 4 or 5 years.

Just like the American Revolution, the trigger event looks like it will be gun confiscation. The British troops in 1775 were marching to Lexington and Concord to confiscate arms from the Massachusetts Militia when they were confronted by Minutemen and the War began.

If Congress doesn't move to effectively block Obama, I fear we won't get through the year without the outbreak of violence. I can't even guess how it could erupt, but some confrontation will likely get out of hand and it will be on.

"Bend over and grab your ankles" should be etched in stone at the entrance to every government building and every government office.
