I saw Lou Pinella do it a million times when he was the manager of the Mariners. He was sticking up for his guys.

Piers Morgan called Larry Pratt a "stupid man" to his face on national television. That isn't right. You can't just take that. Someone has to stand up to that, and Alex Jones did.

Who is Lou doing this for? He's not doing it for the crowd, or the umpires, or himself. He's doing it for his guys. He's doing it to fire them up. He's doing it to let them know that he's got their backs.

That's the same thing AJ is doing. He is imploring the patriots of America: Don't back down.
