Let the fedcoats strike the 1st blow. But once they do, and they will, I hope that my fellow DP'ers will not act like the Jews did in germany and just go quietly onto the trains. I hope my fellow DP'ers will not cower in their living rooms like Russians did durring Stalins purges waiting to be victimized. I hope my fellow DP'ers would rekindle the spirit of 1776, and resist with arms ONLY as a last resort, and after all other attempts at peacefully resolving these issues have failed, just like our founders did. I can say with certainty that all peaceful attempts will fail because this is what history as taught me. However, history has also taught me that it behooves us to try. That by attempting to vote out the bad actors, writing petitions, and becoming elected as delegates and PCO's ourselves, that this is how we can hold the moral high ground in the eventuality this goes hot.

Ron Paul is right. "Peaceful revolutions have been every bit as successful as violent revolutions." However, this is not India. This is America. We resisted tyranny before when they came for the guns, and we can do so again. I do not believe resistance is futile. I just believe that resistance should remain non-violent for absolutely as long as possible and that we should do nothing to hasten the day.

Just don't lay there in the street like some 90's WTO protester in Seattle screaming "Why are you beating me? I'm peacful!" Duh! Why do you think they are beating you? It's because they have nothing to fear from you! Do you have the means and the will to resist jackbooted thugery on your neck? No? Then don't whine when you become a victim to the state. We are ill prepared for what is coming, and we need to be more organized, better equipped, and better trained. Let us have no illusions, this going to suck!

I don't wan't this to happen any more than you do. Anyone who wants this is wrong. But should it happen, and it will, what side of history do you want to be on? What does "LIVE FREE OR DIE" mean to you? If we can't find that fire in our belly when it is absolutely needed as a last resort, then we are toast.

I agree, "don't take the bait", but I disagree that the next president can reverse the course in due time. To quote Ron Paul again, "It took decades to get us into this mess, it will take decades to get us out." We don't have decades. As Ron has recently said, "We have already gone off the cliff."
