" if these people had really compelling evidence wouldn't the media really want to break the story?"
when people do come forward with compelling evidence, some people in the media do want to break the story. those people are shot down from above. 5 corporations control 95 percent of our media. anytime a story comes across that's considered just too hot or too conspiratorial, the reporters are told not to run it. Why? many reasons. sometimes it's all about access. if you run a story that is derogatory to the current administration in the White House, the White House might not give you access any longer. you don't want to be the only media company that can ask the president questions, so you don't run the story.
