didn't I also hear from the founder of appleseed (who is a fantastic story teller BTW) that the militia had superior rifles with longer range, and that played a part in their victory?
Supposedly the thinking behind part of the 2nd amendment was for individuals to have the most capable and well made rifles of the time, to always have an advantage.
