To a 'conspiracy theorist' it would be the exact opposite of these things. Conspiracy theories are not an explanation for the 'unexplainable' or a shortcut in logic or understanding. If a theory is a conspiracy it is a conspiracy because it takes more thinking and analyzing to uncover evidence for the theory. A conspiracy theory doesn't explain away and unanswerable mystery, but answers legitimate questions about inconsistencies and correlations of well known facts.
You don't need to be a conspiracy theorist to think that rich, powerful people might meet in secret to figure out how to become richer and more powerful or that they would implement plans to do so.
That to me make perfect sense.
