That's right, it switched, didn't it?

About a year and a half after the switch to digital transmission I was listening to a football game on the radio (Packers vs. Vikings). It was a such good game that for the first time in years I was inspired to think, "Hey, I should actually watch this!" I did have a television that I used to watch SpongeBob videos and movies on DVD. I rolled it out of storage into my living room, turned it on [TV mode] and observed the blue screen. I changed channels - blue screen, blue screen... I finally remembered stories of the switch from analog transmission the year before. I also remembered the last thing I had watched on television, PBS's broadcast of Scorcese's Dylan documentary "No Direction Home" which had aired about a year and a half before the analog to digital transmission switch. I laughed and turned my radio back on. :D
