Comment: it had to be tough to be his son sometimes

People have been flat out evil to Ron. My take is that he refuses to be his dad on some issues. Rand is certainly savvy. After he won the primary and the PR disaster on Maddow the next day... since then Rand speaks slower and more thoughtful.

Rand still makes me nervous on war issues. His action in the senate protecting our rights gives me faith. Rand is smart.

The next two years will be critical for him. Helping gain a few seats, proving to us.. proving to the base.. and out performing the party will be difficult.

Regardless.. he had my support. Its conditional... but he has it. If he continues to prove himself I will bust my butt for him.
