The answer is simple but not necessarily easy

In any organization you have th choice to reform it or leave it if you disagree with policy. If you adhere to the faith but your leaders let you down by establishing policies that contradict the faith you can follow blindly or push for reform. If it is important enough to you you will push for reform. If not you will go along with what the leaders do that the founder(s) dsiagree with.

In this case the founder was Jesus Christ who was reported to be distinctly anti-bankers.
