it took almost a year from Nixon's I'm not a crook statement until his resignation. This wouldn't be tomorrow, a huge majority of Democrats coming up for re-election just about the same time as an impeachment trial. I think there would be some real possibility of it happening, and I think Dems up for re-election would be in trouble and probably already are with all the talk of banning guns. Already seeing Senate Democrats saying no way to any gun ban.
