Don't worry the NRA's armed guards suggestion isn't even a bill no one is taking it seriously.
It's a very one dimensional way of looking at the problem, lefts says problem is guns, take the guns NRA says solution is guards with guns... Both are different branches of authoritarianism.
Though I do think private rapid response teams to get there as fast as possible could deter killers from targeting schools. As tragically these mass killers are out to kill as much unarmed civilians as possible. They not out for a gun fight.
